PRE-PRO + COLLEGE OPPORTUNITIES

Eagles is committed to training elite level athletes while giving them an opportunity to continue their spiritual formation journey and use their gifts for something beyond themselves. During the Summer, you, along with 60 other athletes, will be going through our Sports Ministry Training (SMT) curriculum. It's designed to help you practically integrate your faith into both sport and your daily life. We want your experience to be one that will have an eternal impact in your life! While playing for the Eagles you will experience excellence in soccer, authentic community, and have opportunities to serve cross-culturally and in our youth programs.

What is the Eagles Summer Academy?

A 10 week serving experience that will deepen your faith and raise the level of your game.

  • The Summer Academy is a 10-week experience (mid-May to mid-July) that will challenge you to deepen your faith while you raise the level of your game. Our goal for you is that you learn what it means to be a sports minister while working towards becoming a better player.

    Over the course of 10 weeks, you will be trained on how to integrate your faith into the game, play matches locally and internationally, coach soccer camps for kids, receive quality training sessions, and be a part of a community of believers.

    You will be able to select a specific area of the ministry to dive into.

    • Game Day Broadcasting

  • Seeking 14 players to take a deep dive into Sports Ministry, high level soccer training, coaching kids at camp, and building Kingdom-centered community together both locally and globally.

  • Fundraise: $4,500

    Covers domestic costs and international tour.

    BUT…you will get paid $2,000 from coaching camps during the summer.

  • The time we spend together creates a community that will give you the opportunity to create lasting relationships with your teammates and with those whom you come in contact with overseas.

    You will spend the summer with people who love soccer, and better yet, who love seeing Jesus move and transform lives. Part of the goal of the Summer Academy is to create the kind of authentic community that fosters change and gives you the chance to create life-long, lasting friendships. Here you will find people who will challenge you to step outside your comfort zone and encourage you in your walk with Christ.

We promise to offer an environment where you will be developed as a player as you progress through your soccer career. We promise that players of diverse spiritual backgrounds will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and be mentored in how the game of soccer can develop their spiritual lives.

Players will experience Excellent Soccer, Authentic Community, and Ministry Experience.
